Reading, and Order, and Goals, Oh My!!
January 2011
Reading:
January's reading assignment is: To work on the reading challenge President Davies gave us in Stake Conference: to read the Book of Mormon personally in 60 days. He didn’t say you had to start that day so if you haven’t started already, start today! It’s about 10 pages a day. He also challenged us to read the Book of Mormon as a family within a year. That is less than 2 pages a day.
If you are just working on reading the Book of Mormon by the end of the year, to be on track for the Book of Mormon, read Ether 4 – Moroni 10 by the end of the month. If you finish reading the Book of Mormon by the end of the year, please contact Sister Brackner at Brackner@aol.com so you can be included in the reward!
We have new conference talks to be working on to read by next General Conference. There are some awesome talks to read and reread!

Ideas on how Stay Healthy During the Winter Season
1. Get adequate sleep. Even if your routine is interrupted by guests and/or travel, maintain a regular sleep schedule as much as possible.
2. Eat healthy, nutritious foods. Avoid getting into the fast-food routine because you're busy.
3. Take a high-potency multivitamin if you are not already doing so. You may want to take extra vitamin C to help boost your immune system.
4. Avoid taking on too much. You can't do everything, and you will become stressed and fatigued if you try to.
5. Streamline your shopping. Use the Internet or mail-order catalogs. Shopping from home will save you energy. In addition, you will avoid crowded stores packed with all types of germs.
6. Keep up your exercise program.
7. Make private time. Relax, read, take a bath - time for yourself will rejuvenate and refresh you.
